We are using Easybuild to manage our scientific software. To help us deploy consistent and repeatable software we rely on git tags and the ability to download a tagged version.
The current master head of wham points to 1.7.0, but you have a tag for 1.8.0 which seems to be the newest version, but it does not contain whamg.
can you tag the latest version of wham that builds
Can you remove the dependency on git from the Makefile? If we download a tagged version, it will not contain the .git tree.
thanks
