Smoldot v1.0.0 was released. It has a fully featured wasm light client that can be used in browsers. We don't have to rely on rpc nodes anymore, we can just make the user run the light client in the browser, effectively increasing decentralization and removing bandwidth and request/response size restrictions 🎉 .
