Ubuntu 10.04 DB2 only supports the Long Term Support (LTS) versions of Ubuntu. The information contained in this page outlines Ubuntu 10.04 specific information on DB2 9.7. Common requirements DB2 9.7 requires Ubuntu 10.04 release. Before installing DB2, please use the "apt-get" command to install the following packages: libaio1, ksh, libstdc++6-4.4-dev and libstdc++6-4.4-pic.
