I think its one good thinking but need one more step then adding devices that need quirk (many good devices dont need quirks). I have trying "administrating" tuya TRVs and its not easy and in discussions its only the Arthur or the maintainer that can doing that = good and bad thing zigpy/zigpy#653 (comment). I think for quirked device device is good describing what functions is fixed / added and how its working and if its functions that is not working OK or cant being fixed (for the moment). |

I agree that it would be very nice if Home Assistant's ZHA integration could have a database of tested Zigbee devices with comments with tips on pairing, etc. similar to how Zigbee2MQTT list its supported devices -> https://www.zigbee2mqtt.io/supported-devices/ FYI, something similar was discussed/suggested in #558 and #14 But as mentioned, the thing to remember is that ZHA does not need quirks for most devices, as per ZHA documentation https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/zha#knowing-which-devices-are-supported and https://www.home-assistant.io/integrations/zha#zha-exception-and-deviation-handling |

Hello !
I was listing all devices and adding helpful info on #1705 and I think it might be a good idea to add summary to list all supported devices ? (eg.
README.md
in each manufacturer directory)Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
