Micro snippet support

I know of snippets extension, but what is the "standard" mechanism for snippets in micro? And which snippet format does it support? Which existing snippets I can use with micro?

There is no "standard" mechanism for snippets. They are only supported by 3rd party plugins like the micro-snippets-plugin. I have not used it but it seems to use the vim-snippets format.

Language servers may provide snippets through the completion request, but the LSP clients for micro ¹² do not currently support that feature.
