Should help the dir list a lot and the files list a bit (still returns all files with an extension there)

Uh oh, may have made a mistake here (Dropped the "no extension" check I think...) Edit: nope, it got moved to the filter... it's just an unused variable. |

Mostly to avoid DaftBoy running out of memory while listing the root of my SD card... but seems useful for the launcher too.
