GetStreamPerusal, as the name suggests, is a perusal of the GetStream SDK. It is a messaging application that is created to showcase some of the most recent trends in android development such as Jetpack Compose and Material 3. The back end functionality is provided mostly by GetStream SDK when it comes to the messaging, and AWS when it comes to Authentication and object storage.
The main objective of this project is to gain practice of the libraries/skills mentioned below. A short explanation as to why I decided to learn about Jetpack Compose is provided here.

I used Notion to organise the tasks for this project.
The application is not to be used for production and is merely done as a POC. Furthermore,
the application is not compilable without Env.kt which is included in the .gitignore file. The
Env.kt file contains the address of the api endpoints which enables users to sign up, by providing
a JSON Web Token, and change their profile picture.
