RADSUM calculates fluxes and cooling rates from LBLRTM radiances for user-defined spectral intervals.

Key features of RADSUM are:

  • Converts spectral radiances calculated by the line-by-line model, LBLRTM, to fluxes and cooling rates using three-angle Gaussian quadrature.
  • Output fluxes and cooling rates are averaged over selectable spectral intervals in multiples of 0.5 cm-1.
