Changes in AMReX-Codes/amrex#4113 reveal an issue: the soot model is a static member of the PeleC class so the destructor is not called until after AMReX is finalized. Not sure if this is the best solution, but instead of waiting for the destructor to deallocate memory, we can instead explicitly deallocate SootModel memory in the variable cleanup phase. |
