Agreed. I was about to ask the same.

Currently using an SVG replacement but the scaling is all whack.

Is it "fairly easy" to add it myself if I got an SVG? In a hurry, kinda..

You can make your own font icons, there are plenty tools out there , but i think the easiest one is icomoon.io Just go to icomoon.io/app upload your svg files and it will give a font icon of those svg files, or you can open a pull request to add the icon to this repo

Right on. If you're in a hurry, you can always generate the webfont yourselves. As @amiut mentioned, Icomoon is nice, I even wrote a step-by-step instructions on how to generate the webfonts.
