Injecting Data

Start by loading an image into PNG Mask, this may be a clean PNG or a PNG containing hidden data. This can be done by either dragging and dropping an image into PNG Mask or by navigating to File > Open Image...

File > Open Image

If a window pops up asking for you to select a steganography method select None/Cancel.

Next, navigate to Action > Inject and select the data type you would like to inject the file with.

Action > Inject > Text

Select or input the data you would like to be injected.

Notepad

Select the steganography method you would like the data to be hidden by.

Select method

Type in the password you would like to use to protect the data (or type nothing to not have the data password protected).

Password entry

PNG Mask should now show you the injected data, however the injected PNG has not actually been saved yet, so we have to make sure to actually save the injected PNG by navigating to File > Save Image... and saving the image.

File > Save Image...
