We should look into an open-source and self-hosted alternative to OneSignal so that we can be sure that all processing is done securely. |

PWA: Onesignal API is easy to use and can generate notifications
iOS App: Can create certificates with kdk1616's Apple Dev acct.
Both approaches require storing notification tokens and likely Aspen credentials on a database. This makes security more important than before. We would need to be upfront about what people are storing on our system and give them the ability to opt in/out.
