Grails (*) : collectory and occurrence research

Web application Archive (WAR) : modules

Tomcat 7 : web server

MSQL for database used by the collectory module

Apache SOLR : indexation (occurrence search)

Apache Cassandra : storage (occurrence search)

(*) Grails, a web framework as main tool, it is based on the Groovy language and it works with Java and hibernate among others.
