Quick Install Script [0.4.0]

Quick installation

1. Install Balatro on Steam if you haven't already. Wait a few seconds for the music to start playing to ensure the save directory is set up correctly, then close the game.
2. Create an exclusion for Balatro in Windows Security. Lovely is incorrectly flagged as malicious, so it will cause issues if you don't disable it.
3. Install Git
4. Download the BlackHole-Release.zip archive and extract it.
5. Press the Windows key + R and type in %AppData%/Balatro. Move the Mods folder inside the download to this folder.
6. Run the update_balatro_mods_hashV2.bat batch script inside the Mods folder to fetch the latest versions of Steamodded and Black Hole.
7. Find Balatro's installation directory by right-clicking the game in Steam, hovering "Manage", and selecting "Browse local files". Copy version.dll from the download into this folder. If you're using NVDA, copy nvdaControllerClient64.dll from the bin folder inside Black Hole (in your Mods folder), and also paste it into that same folder.
8. Run the game. To update, simply run the script again.

Script Backup Behavior

Please note that the current script creates individual backups for each mod whenever updates are checked, which can lead to multiple redundant backups. You may want to periodically clean up your backup folder to avoid unnecessary storage usage.
