TinyMce Conflict with MailPoet newsletter editor #263
Comments
It appears to be happening when the Calendar module of Edit Flow is activated. No errors in the console. |
Could be, I haven't changed anything on EditFlow, just installed and activated it! |
Good day, I am a super-user of both Mail Poet Premium and Edit Flow. I experience the issue referenced and it began approximately 7-8 months ago. When Edit Flow Calendar is enabled, the functionality of TinyMce for Mail Poet stops working. This appears as not being able to make edits in the Text Editor for Mail Poet newsletters. No errors noted. With EF's Calendar disabled, TinyMce returns to function as expected. |
Just so you guys know, we fixed that issue on MailPoet's end on version 2.6.12 |
I know this is a very old thread but it's almost the same issue. There's a similar issue when using the "Awesome Support" plugin and mailpoet. TinyMCE will crash and the functionality of editing texts in the newsletter editor is gone. JS Console errors: I'm sadly not able to use mailpoet because of this. |
There's a conflict happening on MailPoet when you enable Edit Flow. Somehow our TinyMCE stop working at all.
This conflict might be happening for more than 6 months: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/mail-poet-former-wysija-newsletter-conflict
MailPoet: http://wordpress.org/plugins/wysija-newsletters/ (any version)
Edit Flow version: 0.8
