Build Status Coverage Status

The beesbook pipeline is used to detect and decode the tags of honeybees.

Installation

Step 1: Install TensorFlow

• With GPU support (if your system meets the requirements):

pip install tensorflow[and-cuda]

• or CPU-only:

pip install tensorflow

Step 2: Install bb_pipeline

pip install git+https://github.com/BioroboticsLab/bb_pipeline.git

Usage example

from pipeline import Pipeline
from pipeline.objects import Filename, Positions, TagSaliencies, IDs
from pipeline.pipeline import get_auto_config

pipeline = Pipeline([Filename],  # inputs
                    [Positions, TagSaliencies, IDs],  # outputs
                    **get_auto_config())
results = pipeline(['/local/image/file.jpeg'])

get_auto_config() will automatically download and cache the required model files for you. After calling pipeline(), results[Positions] will contain the coordinates of all detected tags, results[IDs] will contain their IDs and so on.
