Auto Correlation Recorder Plugin v3.1 Release Note
We're excited to bring you the latest enhancements and features in the Auto Correlation Recorder Plugin v3.1
Here's what's new:
Apply from template improvements
- Fixed wrong reporting of rules usage
- This caused that some extractors and replacements weren't applied correctly given the sense that rules weren't working
- Fixed order of suggestions generated
- This causes that the suggestions which get converted into rules were applied in a different order than the original template provided
- Now suggestions remain ordered as the rules template order.
Dialog improvements
- Add Waiting dialog while applying suggestions from template
- Add Waiting dialog while generating suggestions from template
- Waiting Dialogs can now being interrupted
- Interrupting suggestions appliance results in reset of testplan, keep in mind that suggestions needs be generated again.
- Waiting Dialogs shows information about background task

We're excited to bring you the latest enhancements and features in the Auto Correlation Recorder Plugin v3.0
Here's what's new:
Siebel removed from core
The following components were removed from the plugin
- Siebel Array JMeter Function
- Siebel Counter Correlation Replacement
- Siebel Row Correlation Extractor
- Siebel Row Id Correlation Replacement
- Siebel Row Params Correlation Replacement
The main reason this release is major one is due to the lack of backward compatibility.
However, not all are bad news. Now it's possible to access to a better Siebel correlation support by joining the Blazemeter community.
It's possible to use the new template and components directly from the plugin!
Other Improvements
- Fix issue which reseted the JMeter templates.xml
- Allow to display templates description that contain custom rules despite of jar installation
- Dynamic class loader for custom extractors and replacements
- Custom extensions are now saved in lib/ext to benefit from JMeter class loading system
- Fix several issues related to apply suggestions based on a template

We're excited to bring you the latest enhancements and features in the Auto Correlation Recorder Plugin v2.6
Here's what's new:
Encode - Decode Automatic recognition
Auto Correlation Recorder has being enhanced with automatic URL encoding/decoding capabilities. The recorder can now detect URL-encoded data, automatically decode it, and replace it wherever it's used. It also supports the reverse process, handling decoded data that needs to be encoded for usage.
This improvement simplifies data management and reduces the need for manual adjustments.

- Fix issue which duplicates regular expression extractors
- Fix issue while installing the Auto Correlation Plugin causing to overwrite the JMeter templates.xml
- Fix wrong tooltip text description
- Fix correlation wizard opened in the back while changing modals

Rebranding
Lately the project have changed its path to an automatic paradigm. Therefore an appropriate name was chosen.
It's possible to see how the rebranding took effects in Official Documentation, JMeter Plugins and Auto Correlation Plugin components!
Draft template
A feature was added in order to be able to use rules that are under development, inside of the correlation rules tab.
Forget about saving a template version every time you want to give a try your new set of rules.
Performance improvements
Performance was a big deal when dealing with large recordings. Causing users to face long waiting times while generating the suggestions.

We're excited to bring you the latest enhancements and features in the Correlation Recorder Plugin v2.5
Here's what's new:
JSON Support on Automatic comparison and variable detection method
Not everything is a regex, that's why it's possible to record a JSON flow and let the automatic correlation recorder handle the dynamic elements.
In this release, there is a new addition, every time the plugin encounters a dynamic value in a JSON response (possible extractor) or JSON request (possible replacement) it will be translated to a JSON Extractor with it's JSON Path auto generated.
Other Improvements
- Fixed an issue that avoided consuming boundary length for automatic regex generation
- Fixed an issue that avoided saving a template when fresh start the plugin
- Fixed an issue that showed suggestions but weren't the ones applied
- Improvement in Github pages documentation

Here's what's new:
JSON Extractor and Replacement
Define, use and export templates that are able to easily extract values from json responses or replace values in requests. This feature is currently only supported for templates correlation and legacy mode. Automatic Correlations will be supported next release.
Other Improvements
- Fixed an issue in the version of templates that conflicted with pre-existing templates.
- Fixed an issue which when exporting local correlation rules.
- Adjustments to the context helper texts.
- Adjustments for the history manager iteration messages and export.
- Other minor issues were fixed

History Manager
Easily review your TestPlan modification during correlation. You will be able to see the different iteration you pass through, restore them, delete the ones you do not want to keep in your history and export and share iterations with other users. We also did some minor fixes along the way.
