You can install the GitHub Status from the VSCode Marketplace. Simply search for "GitHub Status" in the extensions tab of your VSCode editor and click "Install." Usage
Once installed, the GitHub Status will add a status bar item to your VSCode editor. The status bar item displays the current status of the GitHub service - green for "operational," yellow for "minor outage," and red for "major outage."
