What's New
- Attack Count Chips! (Here's also a static image of the new chips)
- Every chip shows the number of hits in a circle on the left of the chip and the type and target of the attack on the right
- Makes use of the buff naming conventions found on the Wiki (thanks /u/Linathan for coordinating that and everyone who helped contribute to that project!)
- For units, this shows a small summary of attacks found on their respective BB, SBB, and UBB where applicable
- New layout on the unit search page that shows attack chips split and color coded by BB/SBB/UBB
- Can sort by number of attacks on BB, SBB, or UBB on top of the already existing filter options that BFMT provides
- This is also present on the bursts page as well, allowing you to view attacks found on burst skills not found on units and seeing which skills have the most attacks
- The hit count tables you see in unit and burst entry pages have been updated to show the attack chips there as well.
- This originally started as an ask by Asymmetrical on Discord about whether there was a filter ot show dual attackers, and I thought that this would be a good feature to add. Didn't expect to add another feature to BFMT so soon before the 3.0 release, but here we are.
- Special thanks to everyone who gave feedback in the Reddit Coalition as well as in the Lima Laboratory. Your feedback is greatly appreciated and helps to make this look and feel better for everyone to use.
- Every chip shows the number of hits in a circle on the left of the chip and the type and target of the attack on the right
- Please note that this makes a change to the datamine, so you may need to redownload a copy of the datamine for BFMT in order to take advantage of this feature.
What's next?
I'm focusing on a BFMT-like tool specifically for the Wiki around the generation of pages from the datamine. After that, it's back to more BFMT development. The Wiki project also serves as a test bed for some architecture ideas I have for BFMT 3.0, so development for it hasn't totally stopped.
A (not final) list of features planned for this tool:
- A major architecture update (probably re-writing major portions) to focus on improving performance
- Story viewing
- Summoner data (maybe)
- Whatever's listed in my TODO list (a long list of things I want to add as well as what y'all in the community think should be added)
I'll still be doing a datamine update whenever the datamine gets updated (which is typically once weekly) as well as trying to fix bugs that arise. Suggestions from y'all might end up being new features as well (like the one in this post).
Note that I do not have any specific time frame for the aforementioned. Feel free to suggest other features you'd like to see in this tool. Also feel free to let me know what upcoming features you want me to focus on.
