StickyLocks doesn't prevent destruction of claimed blocks, it only prevents use of them. This makes for an interesting application in a PvP server - to loot your chests, invaders have to break them open, scattering the contents over the floor.
Since StickyBlocks prevents locks being claimed by people who can't break blocks in that location, your assets remain safe from grief by malicious claims as long as they remain safe from physical attack.
