CPSC 3750: Web Application Development

Platform-based development of client- and server-side technologies. Students create interactive and dynamically generated web applications using programming and command-line tools. Course content includes new Internet technologies. Preq or concurrent enrollment: CPSC 3600.

By the end of the semester, students should be able to:
  • Design and implement a modern web application
  • Compare and contrast web programming with general purpose programming
  • Describe the differences between software-as-a-service and traditional software
  • Discuss how web standards impact software development
  • Describe current web standards
