Platform-based development of client- and server-side technologies. Students create interactive and dynamically generated web applications using programming and command-line tools. Course content includes new Internet technologies. Preq or concurrent enrollment: CPSC 3600.
- Design and implement a modern web application
- Compare and contrast web programming with general purpose programming
- Describe the differences between software-as-a-service and traditional software
- Discuss how web standards impact software development
- Describe current web standards
