This is the initial draft of the new schema. I've validated it using https://www.jsonschemavalidator.net/, but haven't tested it on any JSON files yet. Feedback is welcome!
One note is that I have validated all year inputs to limit them to be between 1900-2100 to prevent obvious errors with incorrect dates. This can be removed if felt to be superfluous.
