The "Composers List" GitHub project is a directory of over 4 000 composers providing a valuable resource for music enthusiasts, researchers, and musicians.

This project contributes to preserving the cultural heritage transmitted for centuries by offering easy and organized access to an invaluable musical wealth. It bears witness to the incredible diversity of creations that have marked history over the ages, true immortal masterpieces of music. It also preserves the memory of their composers, precious artisans of music, thus preventing them from sinking into oblivion and perpetuating their musical contribution through the ages.
The composers.txt file contains, for each composer, his last name in capital letters followed by his first name and the dates of birth and death. The script provided with the text file allows the user to perform searches by entering information of their choice.
To use the program from the command prompt, run the following command :
python script.py
