Browser extension to rearrange tabs and move them between windows with keyboard shortcuts.
This extension is simple, but I can no longer live without it.
This extension uses an older version of the manifest file, but it still works great. To install:
- Click the green Code button at the top right of this page and select "Download ZIP".
- Unzip the downloaded file and move the contents to a permanent location on your system.
- Navigate to
chrome://extensions - Make sure that "Developer mode" is enabled in the top right corner.
- Click "Load unpacked" in the upper left corner and select the directory you moved everything to in step 2.

chrome://extensions - Click the hamburger icon in the upper left hand corner
- Click "Keyboard shortcuts"
- Find Tab Rearranger in this list.
- Go to
about:addons - Click on the
...icon next to Tab Rearranger and select "Manage" - Click on the cog icon in the upper right hand corner and select "Manage Extension Shortcuts"
