ArchHyprland Dotfiles

These screenshots were taken using EndeavourOS as the base installation system.
The Arch-based dotfiles provide a minimal yet beautiful Hyprland installation.
The currently supported platforms are:
- Arch Linux
- EndeavourOS
- Manjaro Linux
- Garuda Linux (not tested)
- Arco Linux (not tested)
- CachyOS (not tested)
If you encounter any issues during installation using the dotfiles, please report them in detail to help me improve the project!
These are the main components that will be installed:

hyprland
: A dynamic tiling Wayland compositor that is lightweight and highly configurable. -
waybar
: A customizable, minimalistic status bar for Wayland. -
hyprpaper
: A wallpaper utility for Hyprland, allowing you to set and manage wallpapers. -
waypaper
: Another wallpaper manager for Wayland, supporting multiple monitors. -
wlogout
: A logout menu for Wayland environments. -
sddm
: Simple Desktop Display Manager, used to start and manage sessions. -
alacritty
/kitty
/zsh
: Terminal emulators that you can easily install. -
nautilus
/dolphin
: Filemanager available during the installation. -
starship
: A customizable prompt for any shell, displaying useful information in the command-line interface. -
hypridle
: A utility for managing screen idle states in Hyprland, useful for power management. -
rofi-wayland
: A window switcher, application launcher, and dmenu replacement built for Wayland. -
grim
andslurp

is a screenshot tool for Wayland, andslurp
is used to select regions for screenshots. -
gnome-keyring
: A password and secret management service, used to store credentials securely. -
gtk3
andgtk4
: Libraries for building graphical user interfaces, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of applications. -
dunst
: A lightweight and customizable notification daemon. -
qiv
: An image viewer based on GTK. -
vlc
: A video player.
A few other minor packages will also be installed. Additionally, a small set of wallpapers will be added to ~/Pictures/Wallpapers
.
