Welcome to Blackjack / 21! This is a simple console-based implementation of the popular casino card game in Python.
- Run the code and choose to start the game by entering 's'.
- If you wish to see the rules, you can enter 'y' when prompted.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to play the game.
- Enter 'h' to hit or 's' to stand during your turn.
- The game will determine the winner based on the sum of the card values.
The basic rules of Blackjack are provided in the rules()
function. You can see them by entering 'y' when prompted at the beginning of the game.
- The game handles Aces intelligently, choosing between the values 1 or 11 based on the hand's current total.
- The dealer hits until their hand reaches at least 17.
- The game checks for busts and determines the winner accordingly.
