I feel like users of openwireless.org SSIDs (the guest users) should be a persona. The project already caters to their needs by declining to use captive portals and showing designs, at least in UI comps, that allow guaranteeing a minimum bandwidth to guest users.

There may also be guest-visible UIs in the future if the project implements anything like a my.meraki.com page that the router intercepts and uses to show current connection data (wireless signal strength and bandwidth usage).

I agree! If anyone would like to contribute a Guest User persona, that
would be very helpful.

@davidstrauss Please do contribute Openwireless user persona. Also could you motivate why guest-visible UI might be good ? Right now firewall prevents them from reaching the lighttpd web server. From a security point of view that is a good thing. So the case for guest-visible UI needs to be compelling to undertake the additional security engineering.
