2. Understanding Flipper LoRa Relay app

Carlos Alatorre edited this page Jun 17, 2024 · 13 revisions

Along with the Electronic Cats Flipper Add-On: SubGHz this app allows viewing, analyzing and replicating LoRa traffic.

LoRa Relay app has different options and menus. Here you will find a description of each option in the LoRa Relay application. Some option names explain the function itself.

Settings

Configure your Add-On to the correct LoRa parameters.

  • Frequency (in MHz). The frequency value can be manually defined by pressing the center button.

Note

It is not possible to add a dot once it is deleted, use the D-pad to move through the text field and avoid erasing it.

  • Bandwidth (LoRa communication allowed values). Refers to the maximum amount of data that can be transferred across a connection in a given amount of time.
  • Spread Factor (the speed at which the signal frequency changes across the bandwidth of a channel). Higher SF values transmit data slower but over longer distances.

Sniffer

Watch (sniff) data traveling in a LoRa communication according to the parameters configured in the settings menu.

Note

You can only save one sinffing session, the file will be overwritten.

Sender

Transmit a file containing LoRa messages to any peripheral listening on the network.
