If you already have a Comp/Con account, you can skip this section.

Setting up a Comp/Con Account step by step

In the bottom left corner of the Comp/Con main page select the login button.

Choose “Create Account” in the dialog that pops up.

Fill in your email and your desired password, then click submit. The dialog will ask for a verification code.
⚠️ Do not not use the same password as your email ⚠️

Go to your email and look for an email from compcon@massifpress.com. Be sure to check your spam folder if it's not in the inbox. In it will be a verification code. Copy that code and paste it in the dialog and click “Confirm Verification Code”.

Once confirmed you can now sign in with your email and password in the log in page. After logging in you'll be presented with the management page. You can close this and proceed.

Importing a pilot via Share Code

Go to the “Pilot Roster”. Select “Import Pilot” from the bottom of the pilot list.

Choose “Import From Share Code”, then paste the Share Code into the box and click the “Search” button. ℹ️ If players are going to import their own pilots, they will need need the **“Create New Actors”** permission in Foundry's permission configuration in order to create Mechs and Deployables.

Go to the “Game Settings” sidebar tab and click the “Comp/Con Login” button.

Enter the email you use for Comp/Con and your Comp/Con password into the form and click the “Login” button.

⚠️ Make sure to import all LCPs used before importing a pilot ⚠️
Importing LCPs

Go to the “Actors” tab in Foundry and click the “Create Actor”. Enter a name and make sure the type is set to pilot.
ℹ️ If the Pilot is in a folder, all of their Mechs and Deployables will import into that same folder.

Right-click on the actor in the sidebar and choose “Configure Permissions” from the menu. Select observer for “All Player” if you want players to be able to see each others' character sheets. Select Owner for the player that the Pilot belongs to.

Go to the character sheet and select the “RM-4://SYNC” tab. Click on the dropdown box and select the Pilot you want to import. You cannot import pilots that are loaded as remote resources with this method - paste the Share Code into the dialog box instead.

Click on the button in the “Download” section and the import will begin. Once completed, check the Pilot and their Mechs and Deployables to verify everything imported correctly. Manual tweaks can be made as well.
