Describe the problem:
Tabby hangs on startup. After clicking the shortcut, the splashscreen comes up and the indicator bar moves but then hangs at the end. The program never exits the splash screen and no window controls are available. Using the close button on the link menu has no effect. To stop the program, I have to go to a terminal and end it from the command line. I am using LinuxMint 21.1 Vera and tabby latest version was running fine at first. I have no third-party plugins enabled.

To Reproduce:
Click the link. I have tried with multiple releases of tabby and this behavior occurs in all. I suspect it may be an issue with my machine rather than a bug however I get no information in any logs in order to diagnose this problem. Is there a way to start tabby with debug enabled?

Hi, could you please capture DevTools console logs at the time of the issue: https://github.com/Eugeny/terminus/wiki/Debug-logs

Thank you for your response. The problem is that I can't get past the splash screen to turn on Dev-Tools. When I start with tabby --debug, I get no output in the terminal. This is as far as I get trying to start it. It just hangs at this point. There aren't even any window controls on the right (min/max/close). I have to kill the process to stop it.

Precisely the same issue with me.

Same issue here (Arch linux, both BSPWM and Sway), both from Tabby on Aur.

Bspwm hangs on splash when run with defaults, --debug, and --no-sandbox. No debug messages are printed to terminal.

Swaywm hangs on splash when run with defaults, --debug, and --no-sandbox. The error:
org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.InvalidArgs: No such interface "org.freedesktop.portal.FileChooser
I have xdg-desktop-portal-wlr installed but I see it has no file chooser support. Obviously this is a different snag than whatever is happening on BSPWM and what the others here are seeing on macOs.

Going to try docker now and will report back...
