Problem:
We updated Onyx to a newer version in PR #42772, which caused Reassure tests to fail.
The problem is that removing null values from the Onyx cache increases the number of times the components re-render, leading to more state updates. In the Jest testing environment, mocks, asynchronous operations, and state updates are handled differently compared to a real application. This causes too many re-renders during the tests, making them unreliable.
Solution:
To fix this, I simplified the tests by:
This makes it easier to see how each state update affects component re-renders and ensures our tests are reliable.
