Test Case 1:

1. Open any chat.
2. Insert more text into the input field than can be displayed.
3. Expand the main text input field.
4. Verify that the input field can be expanded and shrunk back.
5. Ensure that the text input field can be scrolled.
6. Check if the main chat list is scrollable.

Test Case 2:

1. Open any chat.
2. Copy a link to a message and send it in the same chat.
3. Navigate through that link.
4. Insert more text into the input field than can be displayed.
5. Expand the main text input field.
6. Verify that the input field can be expanded and shrunk back.
7. Ensure that the main chat list remains unchanged after the input field is expanded and folded back.

  • I verified the JSDocs style guidelines (in STYLE.md) were followed
• If a new code pattern is added I verified it was agreed to be used by multiple Expensify engineers
• I followed the guidelines as stated in the Review Guidelines
• I tested other components that can be impacted by my changes (i.e. if the PR modifies a shared library or component like Avatar, I verified the components using Avatar are working as expected)
• I verified all code is DRY (the PR doesn't include any logic written more than once, with the exception of tests)
