Binary installation on Windows

  • Download latest version in https://github.com/F2I-Consulting/fespp/releases
    • Go in "Assets" section (which you can expand) and pick the right zip file for your particular ParaView version
  • Uncompress the zip in the "...\PARAVIEW_INSTALL\bin\paraview-5.*\plugins" directory of your ParaView install.
    • The Fespp folder should now be present in "bin\paraview-5.*\plugins" next to the other plugins.
  • Run Paraview
  • Click on Tools menu, then "Manage plugins..." sequence diagram
  • Click on "Load New ..." button and select Fespp.dll which is located in the "bin\paraview-5.8\plugins" directory of ParaView install. Is is also advised to check the box "Auto Load" in order not to have to manually load the plugin at each ParaView startup. sequence diagram
  • Click on "Close" button and you should now see a blue EPC icon with the other Paraview icons in its toolbar sequence diagram

Import a an EPC file

  • Just click on the "EPC" blue icon which appears in the ParaView toolbar to open a RESQML (epc) document
  • A file dialog opens where you can select the EPC file sequence diagram
  • Click on OK button. The file should now load into the "Selection widget" panel where you can check which dataobjects you cant to visualize. sequence diagram
