DownloadsOrganiser is a browser extension that simplifies the process of organizing downloaded files on your computer. It automatically categorizes downloaded files into specific folders based on their file extensions. Say goodbye to cluttered download folders!

- Clone this repository to your local machine or download the ZIP file.
- Open your browser and navigate to the extensions management page. For example, in Google Chrome, you can go to
chrome://extensions/
. - Enable "Developer mode."
- Click "Load unpacked" and select the directory where you cloned or extracted the extension files.
- Click on the DownloadsOrganiser icon in your browser's toolbar.
- Add new folder mappings by specifying the file extension and the desired folder name.
- Your downloaded files will now be automatically organized into the specified folders.
You can REMOVE or ADD folder mappings by following these steps:
- Right Click on the DownloadsOrganiser icon and choose "Options" OR click on "Go To Settings" link found in the popup.
- Add or remove folder mappings as needed.
