This repository doesn't contain much code, it's a build environment!

This repository contains a source fetching, patching and building script. As well as all the minor changes to make an Android version fly. See the patches/ folder for a detailed list of changes and applied scripts.

Contribution

Please only base changes on aSmack if they are in fact aSmack specific. Most code improvments should be done directly in Smack so that both worlds (Java SE and Android) benefit from it.

Your code contribution must follow Smack's contributor guidelines, be good documented and should contain some testcases. Then you can simply join #smack @ freenode and ask for a code review.

Open Source Licenses

Please have a look at the README of a aSmack release for detailed license information. aSmack currently contains code with the following licenses:

  • Apache License, Version 2.0
  • OpenLDAP Public License, Version 2.8
