GENI Portal Critical Software Maintenance (11 December 2019)

*** IMPORTANT NOTICE ***

Your assistance is required in testing a new version of the GENI Portal. During the Dec 11, 2019 maintenance window (from 00:00 Eastern until 23:59 Eastern). During this time we will bring up a new version of the GENI Portal for testing. We would like all GENI Users to try to login to the new GENI Portal during this maintenance window, and then send us a brief email saying whether you were able to login or not.

Please send your login test results to response@geni.net with the following information (for both successful and unsuccessful logins):

  1. Your name
  2. Your email address
  3. Your University/Institution
  4. The GENI Project Name you tried to log in to?
  5. Were you successful or unsuccessful at logging into the GENI Portal?
     (If unsuccessful, please send a screenshot of the page)

NOTE: The login test can only be done during the Dec 11, 2019 maintenance window (00:00 Eastern until 23:59 Eastern).

We would like to address any login issues before the new GENI Portal goes into production in the coming months. If you have not tested your account with the new GENI Portal, you may not be able to login to GENI when the new Portal goes live. It could takes weeks to months to resolve the issue (depending on the speed of your campus IT group) during which time you may not be able to use GENI. So please take the time to test your account during this next maintenance window.
