General Information

gedit-latex is a plugin that provides features to ease the edition of latex documents in the Gedit text editor.

You can either

• install a package from your distribution (note it is called gedit-latex-plugin in Debian and derivatives, gedit-latex in other distros such as Red-Hat derivatives),
• run from source (see below).

Then, activate the plugin in the "Preferences" -> "Plugins" menu.

Requirements

rubber is used to compile LaTeX documents.

How to run from source

In the source directory, run

./from_source.sh

... and to disable, run

./from_source.sh remove
