Hey!
There's no need to check the releases. All you need to do to use the overlay is use https://goldenchrysus.github.io/ffxiv/ember-overlay/ as your overlay URL or follow the installation instructions. The changelog for these releases can be found in the overlay or in the repository's changelog file.
However, now that I've got you here...why not consider donating if you love Ember? :D Currently the overlay doesn't even pay for an FFXIV sub to make maintaining this a little less costly. :(
