Versions above 0.6.8 incompatible with IDE #1642
-
Type of JetBrains IDE (IntelliJ, PyCharm, etc.) and versionPyCharm 2019.1.1, PyCharm 2019.3.3, IntelliJ 2019.3.3 Operating SystemWindows 10 I can install TeXiFy IDEA via PyCharm/IntelliJ Marketplace but only the 0.6.8 version is available. I tried downloading newer versions both stable and alpha and then add them via "Install Plugin from Disk". I always get an error: "Plugin 'TeXiFy IDEA' is incompatible with this installation". On the Marketplace website it says that 0.6.9 was incompatible with PyCharm but newer versions should be compatible. Why cannot I install them? (I made sure that it is not the installation from disk what is causing the issue as I can install the 0.6.8 from disk). |

Make sure that IntelliJ and PyCharm are up to date (current version should be 2020.2.3). The JetBrains toolbox can be a massive help here. |

Alright, I updated PyCharm and IntelliJ to the 2020.2.3 version. Now in the marketplace the 0.7 version of TeXiFy IDEA is shown. Unfortunately, still when I am trying to install a newer version from disk, I am getting an error: Hopefully these messages are more informative and someone could help me how to deal with it? For my work I need the 0.7.1 version as I need the support for the glossaries package. |

@siasio 0.7.1 requires PyCharm 2020.3 EAP, which is still in early access preview. |
