TeXiFy on Mac OS

I have just installed the plugin under PyCharm and tried to use this tool. My remarks below:

1. You should for Mac OS not recommend MikeTeX but better MacTeX: https://www.tug.org/mactex . This is better integrated into the Mac-infrastructure.
2. How to use biblatex and biber? I can run biber "by hand" on the generated bcf-file and I get the references well after a second LaTeX-run. Or I have manually edit Run > Edit Configurations for every(?) file I am using. Then it works, but for me it is not a clear way to do this. Better: There's is a RunBiber-Command in the Run section of the toolbar.
3. How to use LuaLaTeX?

I should mention that I am using TeXshop on my iMac for my LaTeX-Projects normally. But for the documentation of my PyThon-Projects the plugin seems to be a good tool for me.

Yeah it is a good point that the current way of using separate run configuration is not very user friendly. That's why we are working on a complete new run configuration, where steps like pdflatex and biber are shown as steps in the LaTeX run configuration:

Hi, this compile-sequence will be done by
% !TEX TS-program = pdflatexmk
before the preamble. Or am I wrong? At least using TeXShop this is the case there.

OK, its is a tool which is used by TeXshop on the Mac OS X. You can find it here https://github.com/jakewilliami/texshop-pdflatexmk on Github and more informations you get via https://pages.uoregon.edu/koch/texshop/ . So far as I understand is is based on latexmk which is also part of your implementations. My point was, that I can use this tool very easily using the %! TEX TS-program mechanisms (see e.g. this posting and the answers https://tex.stackexchange.com/questions/78101/when-and-why-should-i-use-tex-ts-program-and-tex-encoding )

I never heard of it, I legitimately thought you were confusing pdflatex and latexmk haha.
If you want to use it, I would recommend using the 'Custom compiler command' feature in the run configuration to put the name of your executable.

We support magic comments for built-in compilers (see the wiki), but not yet for arbitrary commands. If you want this feature, you can submit an issue.
