Welcome to the talks wiki! This will probably end up on the website but for now it's a wiki.

Pages

Types of Talks

Aside from typical talks which might run 15-45 minutes, there are two special types of talks we will mention.

Lightning talks are short, usually five minutes in length. They offer a brief introduction to the topic.

Fundamental talks are introductory level presentations on the fundamentals of JavaScript. They may also be considered lightning talks, and should be 5-15 minutes in length. We are hoping to always include one fundamentals talk at the beginning of each user group meeting. The goal is to help the beginners get up to speed more quickly, and provide a stronger base knowledge to everyone in the group.

Proposing Talks

Submit an idea for a talk by logging an issue on this project. Make sure you add the topic label. Also add labels if it should be a lightning talk or a fundamentals talk.

If you would like to propose a talk, or volunteer to speak on a suggested topic, you can assign that topic to yourself and comment on it.
