SEMS - Simple Employee Managment System

I've started this project of a simple employee managment system to learn the Spring framework and its features. Spring Boot is the base. It combines features seen in some "Getting Started" ptojects.

Prerequisites

• a free database on a MySQL server
• a Java VM (Version 17)

Installation

1. Download JAR file
2. Copy config/application.properties.default to application.properties
3. Put application.properties in same folder as JAR file
4. Set path, username and password of your mysql database in application.properties

Development

1. Pull this repository
2. Copy config/application.properties.default to config/application.properties
3. Set path, username and password of your mysql database in config/application.properties
