react-md only includes Material Design Icons (~1k) and it is feeling limiting. Now there are Material Design Symbols (~3k).

Alternatives:

Easy way to get MD Symbols (has props for controlling those fonts directly) https://github.com/ed-software/react-material-symbols
What we're using in the native app: https://github.com/oblador/react-native-vector-icons#web-with-webpack
