Choose a tag to compare

Navigate to your game directory such as:
Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die
Place both 7DTD.dll and System.dll in that directory.
Delete System.dll from your managed directory:
Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\7DaysToDie_Data\Managed
Now you can open the game with or without EAC. You should see the menu open in the top left once you're at the main menu.

If these directories aren't on your machine then go to:
Steam->Library->7 Days To Die->Properties->Installed Files->Browse
This will provide you with your base directory. Then just add \7DaysToDie_Data\Managed to get your managed directory
