TeriTeri is a Discord bot made using the Bot Designer For Discord (BDFD) app. She is a fanbot made for the TeriTeriCult, insipired by Theresa Apocalypse and the features of the Honkai Impact 3rd game. Her commands are mostly made for having fun while playing with them, but she also includes a lot of different features that can be useful to anyone
The very first version of this bot was made by The Zermiste for the TeriTeriCult server in summer 2021. It was a pretty basic bot with an economy system based on the Honkai Impact 3rd game
After this happened, I created her little sister, Festive✩TeRiRi, in Halloween 2021. This bot's only purpose was to make events during world wide festivities to 1. make up for the lack of updates TeriTeri had and 2. make memories with the others and have fun while doing so! As time passed, Festive✩TeRiRi kept growing into a big festive bot, while TeriTeri was a little neglected
The second version of the TeriTeri bot was made by both of us, The Zermiste and I. It took a long time (from christmas 2021 to summer 2022) to complete due to irl things, but it was worth it as it was a big update that made her feel like a complete new bot. We added a whole gacha system and stigmas that gave boosts and benefits to who equipped them, between a lot more of stuff, like a role shop and the first bank milestones
On summer 2022, the TeriTeriCult server was nuked. We created a new one, but The Zermiste refused to come with us. Since then, I'm the one and only bot dev, who keeps the bot alive and updated. She has changed a lot since she is on my hands, with constant updates and Festive✩TeRiRi and her being fusioned into one, but I will continue to evolve her into the beautiful 🦋 butterfly 🦋 she is destined to be
Bot Designer For Discord is an app that uses its own language to help you create Discord bots. It inlcudes a lot of pre-made functions that can do a lot of things, but it also has it's limitations, such as not being able to do loops or having a limit on how long a command can be
To make a command in BDFD you just need to, once you have created your bot, click on the "command creator" button that appears at the bottom of the commands screen. There are some checkboxes you can check to help you make a command if you like it
You should add a trigger and, once you have it, click on the "create command" button and you are ready to code
In the app, you don't have variable types while saving them, so they can contain anything you would like them to have inside: numbers, booleans, text, etc.
The only time where there is a difference in variables, is while you code. Basically, there are the server variables, which affect everyone in a certain server; the user variables, which affect just a certain user.
I just use this repository of mine to save the commands and variables she uses, just in case I need them in the future for some reason. Feel free to ignore all of this or use her code if you need it, I don't mind as long as you don't change the credits 🌙
