Summary

  • This PR is a refactoring
  • It does the following:
    • Refactors CI so that job specs are driven by machine operating system defined compiler versions.
    • Removes readline external
    • Using m4 external package
    • Splits up build and build_and_test job templates for c++ vs python builds
    • Generalize lcats toss3 -> toss systems
    • Fix gcc 10 compilers warnings
    • Fix pre byte compiling packages during install script

ToDo :

  • Annotate RELEASE_NOTES.md with notable changes.
  • Create LLNLSpheral PR pointing at this branch. (PR#)
  • LLNLSpheral PR has passed all tests.
