tox -e docs-check -r gives me:

Sphinx parallel build error:
sphinx.errors.ExtensionError: Handler <function _process_docstring at 0x7f1abe09c310> for event 'autodoc-process-docstring' threw an exception (exception: pop from an empty deque)

Probably from yesterday's sphinx release?
