V4
Major changes are:
- Better Battery Access & Storage: by taking away the bottom coverage slightly, users can more easily (dis-) connect a battery for charging.
- Sturdier Body: By improving tolerances, wall thickness and locking mechanisms, the cover is now much stronger.
- Better Usability with Baseball Caps: Through a re-design of the bottom clip, the system can now be used with baseball caps and headbands more easily and reliably.
V3
Major changes are:
- Better Connector Placement: reducing the distance to the ears and thereby reducing tension on the electrode cables for some participants with larger head sizes.
- Better Cable Storage: By routing the connector cables inside of the enclosure, artefacts from cable contacts are eliminated, and the overall footprint of the system is reduced.
- Fewer Components: Through a re-design of the 3D printed components, only two parts need to be printed now (the Cyton+Daisy board cover).
- Added an exemplary biofeedback application for bruxism detection (from Knierim et al. 2022 - HardwareX).
