Repository to get started with Git and GitHub. In this repository, we'll be making updates in the browser, so there is no need to install anything on your computer. All you need is a GitHub account.
- Create a GitHub account and sign in.
- In this repository, tap on the period button (
.
) on your keyboard. An instance of VSCode will be rendered in your tab containing all the files within this repository. - Click on the right-most icon (ellipsis) next to Source Control.
- Scroll down to Branch > Create New Branch...
- Give your branch a name. A short but detailed name is always good like
adding-<your username>-markdown
. - You should now be on your branch.
- On the left-most menu, click on the Explorer.
- Add a new file and call is
<your username>.md
- Add some sentences, emojis, or other things to it. You can refer to this markdown guide.
- Add the file.
- Commit the change with a message.
- Create a pull request.
- Add me as a reviewer.
