It looks like PrusaSlicer is locking the OpenWith protocol to printables.com ...
This needs further investigation in other slicers.

Looking at the implementation of the file donwload in Prusa slicer https://github.com/prusa3d/PrusaSlicer/blob/dff602be63fb11bd6f566a4b54bb9423cc324d00/src/slic3r/GUI/Downloader.cpp#L154, the assumption is correct there is indeed a validation of the source domain.
Searching for a similar implementation in Orca Slicer and Super Slicer I wasn't able to find a Downloader implementation at all, so no integration.

Is this a feature of other non Slic3r slicers? Does cura for instance implement an URL handler protocol?
